How many spring breaks does it take?

We've lived in our new house for over a year. Some of the mirrors for the bathrooms were purchased but none where ever hung. It only took 2 spring breaks to get the job done. Honestly, it took more time to relocate the tools needed than to hang them. Be warned if we have a huge earthquake at least one of these will likely come down. Why is it that studs are never where you want them to be?

In other news, my life is not a rose garden, or at least not one without thorns. I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes a little over 3 months ago. I've learned a lot and I'm still learning, each day has its own set of struggles but isn't that true for everyone's day?

Love is a pink toothbrush

Have you ever opened a two pack of toothbrushes with your spouse. Is it clear what color each will get? When you open a package with a pink brush and a green one for most it would be clear who gets which color. I opened a package with precisely these colors a while ago and smiled at my husband. He took the pink brush. He knows I am not a fan of the color pink and I like green. Now, it doesn't matter what color my toothbrush is I would have used the pink one with minimal complaining but every time I opened the cupboard to take out my toothbrush I know that my husband knows me and puts my comfort above his. 

So, to my sweet husband for 13 amazing years and using a pink toothbrush, I love you!
